If it wasn't for your wellies...

I forgot to link this yesterday, but i stuck some test textures on the wellies i modelled for the kids' room in Nikki Christie's film, Wee Monsters, to check the UV maps were ok: http://djcadmonsters.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/ellies-wellies.html The rag doll is also now UV mapped but not yet textured as i'm experimenting with her in Zbrush.

This counts as Observational Drawing, right?

My life's heading for disaster in the form of one dissertation ruining my entire uni career, so naturally i watched an ancient episode of DW and drew from it. S01E06, Dalek. Eccleston will always be my Doctor :3 Sir, your ears and nose defy logic.

Life drawing: this week and last

These days I'm not producing enough work that I'm proud of in every individual life drawing session for separate posts. So, here's a selection from this week and last. I might try out this new-fangled drawing over my far-too-subtle graphite drawings digitally, and try to make them cooler to look at.

This was the only part of the drawing I felt able to show the world :(

I think I much prefer drawing on coloured paper :)
