"I call him Waddles, because he waaaddles"

I've been adding finishing touches to Ellie's 6 headed, 3 winged monster for Nikki Christie's film "Wee Monsters".

If this is him finished now, i will need someone to uv map him for me because if i have to uv map one more thing, i think i might implode. Seriously, it's my kryptonite.

So fingers crossed someone takes pitty on me.

If it wasn't for your wellies...

I forgot to link this yesterday, but i stuck some test textures on the wellies i modelled for the kids' room in Nikki Christie's film, Wee Monsters, to check the UV maps were ok: http://djcadmonsters.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/ellies-wellies.html The rag doll is also now UV mapped but not yet textured as i'm experimenting with her in Zbrush.

Easter eggs and cheating Wellies

The props I modelled are up for the world to see! take a peek here:  http://djcadmonsters.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/props.html

A Wee Monster, Animatic Ready!

Today I quickly lumped together Nikki Christie's 6 headed Monster I've been working on for use in her 3D animatic, take a look here: http://djcadmonsters.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/monster-2-animatic-model-complete.html

Co-Direction and New personal schedule

Ok, so, from today Freya Allan has joined my team to Co- direct Dancing Nina, the newer, shorter, 2D version. She'll be making sure I don't go crazy and make this film into something that doesn't make sense any more and generally bossing me around like dictators- i mean, directors, are meant to. I'll be doing the same back as she'll be helping with animation and such.

Here's my new rough personal schedule, enjoy it, I know i will. (heavy sarcasm).

P.s. All the "Kelpie" entries have question marks because i haven't seen their personal schedule yet so don't know if mine matches up. Also the term "level 2/3 slaves" is used lovingly.

Horray for partnership! cue terrible photo-
