Life drawing after uni!

I have started attending weekly drawing club All the Young Nudes in Dundee since completing my Masters course, so here are my efforts so far! 

I may sometimes forget about the blog but i do try and post all my arts onto instagram @rockitbabydoll and i have a new twitter which i would also like to start filling with my art @RockItBabyDoll. (I really have to have a serious chat with myself about branding but this username has stuck since my teens and my full name just seems boring... however i am aware of how embarrassing it is so bare with me)

This, i am considering scrapping and remaking as a tumblr blog because i have seen portfolios as tumblr pages that look tasty! Aaaand i  feel like it would be far more accessible than coroflot. 

I haven't quite got into the rhythm of producing work regularly enough to have a facebook art page but i'm definitely thinking about it- i just need to sort my life out a bit first!

Life Drawing

So, leading life drawing classes for 1st year animation wannabes leaves little time for life drawing! XD But here's what i have from the last month anyway. (I use the term animation wannabes in the most loving way possible, i am greatly enjoying getting some teaching experience!)

Being a resident means i get to carry on doing life drawing for free, which is brill :)

Another Life Drawing Dump (including last ever official :'( )

When i say last ever official, i mean that we just had our last ever timetabled life drawing class before graduation. I intend to carry on life drawing as sadly i feel that my best achievement over 4 years of university has been to learn how to draw naked folk really well. 

Also i may even squeeze in some more life drawing before the end of uni as the 2nd year animators have started offering themselves as models for more exciting poses (with guns and swords etc.)

Last life drawing post before Christmas!

As expected, I've finally reached a standard i'm proud of, just in time for the Christmas holidays, during which i will no doubt become rusty once more and spend next semester producing terrible drawings up until the last few weeks of my university career, when i'll make another break through just in time to become a proper adult.... joy.
